Web Conflux 3.0

Event Description

“Minds Meet. Code Unite. Web Ignite”
Web Conflux 3.0 is a Full Stack Web Development Hackathon designed to challenge participants in crafting innovative, functional, and impactful web solutions. Participants will work in teams to brainstorm, design, and build complete web applications within the given timeframe. From frontend creativity to backend logic, every aspect of web development will be tested.

Venue: GEC WC Campus

How To Participate

  • Students must register in advance to participate in the event.
  • Only registered participants/teams with a valid college ID will be eligible to compete.
  • Participation can be individual or in teams (Min. 2 members, Max. 3 members).

Rules & Guidelines

  • Each team must consist of 2–3 members only.
  • All projects must be designed and developed strictly within the 3-hour time frame.
  • Two problem scenarios will be provided, and each team must solve only one.
  • Teams are free to use any web technologies, frameworks, or libraries of their choice.
  • Internet may be used for references and documentation, but copy-pasting complete projects is not permitted.
  • All code must be written during the hackathon. Use of prebuilt templates or old projects is not allowed.
  • Each team must submit their source code in a ZIP file along with a working demo before the deadline.

Judging Criteria

  • Frontend: design quality, creativity, responsiveness, and user experience.
  • Backend: functionality, efficiency, and smooth integration with the frontend.
  • Presentation: clarity, confidence, and effectiveness in explaining the project.
  • Teamwork & Process: collaboration, coding approach, and time management.
  • Functionality: whether the final demo successfully solves the chosen problem.

Prizes and Awards

Prizes will be awarded based on the results. Exciting prizes and certificates for winners and runners-up.

Technical Issues

  • Participants experiencing technical issues must immediately inform the event organizers.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring their laptops and equipment are working properly before the event.
  • Time lost due to personal technical issues may not be compensated.

Equipment and Settings

  • Teams must bring their own laptops and chargers.
  • Internet will be provided (if applicable), but backup options are recommended.
